Education has always been a vehicle for social change. CO_Plataforma, in a collaborative effort with Connovo and Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), developed the research “Accelerating educational change from social entrepreneurship”, which seeks to understand how the innovation ecosystem and social entrepreneurship can contribute to solve the most pressing social problems in Mexico.
The main objective of this collaborative research was to define the opportunities and gaps in the education sector in Mexico,in which innovation and social entrepreneurship can have a better transformation impact. In this sense, we sought, on one hand, to define the most important challenges of education in Mexico, and in the other, to find success stories of social enterprises that can be able to faced these challenges at an international level. For this research we used a theoretical-methodological framework based on systemic thinking, collective knowledge and the co-creation of more than 50 experts.
