MISSION

To encourage equity in the community, by integrating technological solutions with health care services for people with physical disabilities in vulnerable conditions in Mexico.

MODEL

They have two programs. The first one provides the opportunity for poor people with leg amputation to obtain a prosthesis, and the second one promotes the autonomy of patients who have already received a prosthesis or are on standby to received one, through physical rehabilitation. They also provide the beneficiaries with transportation services to facilitate adherence to therapy.

IMPACT

Tecnologías para la Comunidad has delivered 76 prostheses and 27 people have received physical rehabilitation.

MISSION

Create healthy communities through specific services and accompaniment to patients with chronic diseases in Mexico.

MODEL

Salud Cercana is a health platform that integrates certified services such as medical consultations, laboratories, hospitals, pharmacies, among others, and accompanies patients in the care of their health.

IMPACT

In 4 months Salud Cercana has grown from 9 to more than 6 thousand patients. Patients who have been on weight loss treatment have lost 2.6 kg on average and the patient satisfaction rate has been on a scale of 1 to 5, out of 4.99 hearts.

MISSION

To be the most economic, ecologic and efficient solution to change the lives of the people who died breathing firewood smoke while cooking.

MODEL

Glatt Stove is looking for the best distribution channels so that La Estufita, a portable and high resistance stove that works with ecological fuel, can reach the people who still cooking with firewood and are dying because of it.

IMPACT

Through La Estufita, Glatt Stove have directly impacted 269 people. Of 173 people survey using La Estufita, 90.9% reported that they stopped coughing or started to breathe better, 91.8% saved time, and 46.4% stopped using firewood for cooking.
